North Country National Scenic Trail
North Country National Scenic Trail runs through Pennsyvania, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota and North Dakota, prviding outdoor enthusiasts with roughly 4,600 mi (7,400 km) of pathway linking, including 1,700 mi (2,700 km) of off-road accessible trails. Most people use the trail segments for day trips, but few attempt to do the trail all at once. |

Petoskey-Mackinaw City Trail
The Petoskey-Mackinaw City Trail is a 38-mile trail that is mostly made of dirt and cinder. The trail passes through a number of towns on its way from Petoskey to Mackinaw City. Ideal for snowmobilers, the trail is also used for hiking, biking and cross-country skiing. Access: The trail runs through Petoskey, Mackinaw City, Alanson, Brutus, Pellston, Conway and Oden, with access in any of these locations. |
