Most people use the trail segments for day trips, but few attempt to do the trail all at once. |

Petoskey-Mackinaw City Trail The Petoskey-Mackinaw City Trail is a 38-mile trail that is mostly made of dirt and cinder. The trail passes through a number of towns on its way from Petoskey to Mackinaw City. Ideal for snowmobilers, the trail is also used for hiking, biking and cross-country skiing. Access: The trail runs through Petoskey, Mackinaw City, Alanson, Brutus, Pellston, Conway and Oden, with access in any of these locations. |
